Updated Transitional Kindergarten FAQs from California Dept. of Education
The California Dept. of Education (CDE) has updated its Transitional Kindergarten Frequently Asked Questions to guide districts in implementation and inform families in enrolling their young learners in local programs. A number of new questions and answers have been added, and the entire list of FAQs can be found here.
CDE has also included a new link to SB 1381 - The Kindergarten Readiness Act, the law that created transitional kindergarten, on the Elementary K-6 resource page.
