This fall education leaders, including Carl Cohn, California State Board of Education member, Dave Gordon, Superintendent of Sacramento County Office of Education and John Mockler, president  of John Mockler and Associates, will convene to discuss how transitional kindergarten gives California an unparalleled opportunity to ensure our state's young learners are better prepared to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. This is a chance to hear how transitional kindergarten, one of the most significant education reforms in our state's recent history, fits into the broader K-12 landscape, and learn about exciting and innovative local models.

The Transitional Kindergarten Implementation Summit will also feature sessions focused on:
