Advocacy Day 2008
Pre-K Advocacy Day 2008 in Sacramento was a great success! More than 300 preschool supporters from across California came to the state Capitol on April 22 to advocate for expanded access to high-quality preschool. Teachers, early care educators, parents, business and labor leaders, and others met with more than 90 state legislators and staff to share their stories of how high-quality preschool gets kids ready to learn.
