Save the Date: South Bay Transitional Kindergarten Conference on April 15
Please join the South Bay Transitional Kindergarten Regional Conference on April 15, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Office of Education. The conference will convene school district superintendents and board members, administrators, K-12 teachers, early learning educators and leaders who, together, are committed to ensuring our youngest students are provided with high-quality transitional kindergarten (TK) opportunities. Participants will be provided information on the legislative intent of the Kindergarten Readiness Act of 2010 (SB 1381), the importance of developmentally-appropriate transitional kindergarten learning opportunities, and the latest practices and lessons learned from current TK implementers.
