  • SB 1629 (Steinberg) - Early Learning Quality Improvement Act

    SB 1629 would establish a Commission to create a state Early Learning Quality Improvement System. 

  • AB 2759 (Jones) - California State Preschool Program Act

    AB 2759 would consolidate and streamline existing Title 5 child development programs that serve preschool-aged children.

  • SB 1298 (Simitian and Steinberg)

    SB 1298 would establish a data commission to develop a statewide education information system that includes preschool.

  • AB 100 (Mullin and Nunez)

    AB 100 would, if approved by voters, authorize issuing bonds for K-12 facilities. A broad coalition is seeking amendments to include preschool facilities in the bond.
